Dr. Obi Oriaku, co-founder of Eden MedSpa, is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine, a fellow of the American College of Physicians and he is a man driven by an extraordinary story of resilience and compassion. His life’s journey is a testament to the power of determination and the impact of personal experiences on professional aspirations.
From a young age, Dr. Oriaku battled severe asthma, a condition that brought him to the brink of life on numerous occasions. One particularly harrowing episode at the age of 13, which he recalls with vivid clarity, left him believing he might never see another sunrise. Miraculously, he survived, and this profound experience shaped his future. He made a heartfelt promise to himself and to God: if he survived, he would dedicate his life to becoming the kind of doctor he wished he had met during those terrifying years.
A Journey Across Continents
True to his word, Dr. Oriaku embarked on a relentless quest for knowledge and excellence, spanning three continents and four countries. His journey took him from clinical clerkships in England to roles as a junior medical officer in Nigeria, and surgical training in Trinidad and Tobago. Ultimately, he arrived in America, where he earned his certification in Internal Medicine. At every stage, the memory of his childhood struggles propelled him to excel and to deliver compassionate care.

With nearly 25 years of experience as a primary care and hospital physician, Dr. Oriaku recognized a critical gap in our healthcare system—a system more focused on treating diseases than on promoting wellness. This realization sparked his passion for a new mission: enhancing wellness and vitality. Drawing parallels to the importance of routine car maintenance, he believes that proactive, preventative care is crucial to maintaining overall health and well-being.

Ngozi’s special interests lie in age-defying and regenerative facials and body treatments, with a particular focus on hyperpigmentation and acne treatments. Her passion is to deliver natural-looking results that enhance one’s inner glow, spreading joy through skincare and wellness for everyone who walks through the doors of Eden MedSpa. Her commitment to empowering women to be their best selves is evident in every aspect of her work. Outside of her professional achievements, Ngozi is a proud mom of three boys. She finds joy in cooking, dancing, and running, often participating in half marathons and marathons.
